BCS STEAM 2022 has ended

  • To Register and save your spot, fill out your profile information and set up your password on SCHED.
  • Please enter your email carefully as this is how you will receive important information.
  • Select sessions to create your schedule and reserve your seat.
  • Don’t forget to bookmark this site on your computer or device so that you can access your schedule on the day of the event.
  • Attendees will be sent a link to a conference survey at the end of the conference to the email used to register on Sched. Once the survey has been submitted you will receive your certificate of attendance. The conference survey will close 24 hours after the event.
  • The link for BCS employees to register in Frontline/My Learning Plan will also be shared in the survey. BCS employees must register in My Learning Plan to earn CEUs for the day. Frontline/MyLearning Plan registration will close 24 hours after the event. 
  • BCS Certified Staff:  If you do not complete the conference survey and Frontline/MyLearning Plan registration within 24 hours you will not receive CEUs for the conference. Please make sure you complete these by August 12, 2022.
  • ZOOM KNOWN ISSUE:  If you receive an error that your speakers are not recognized do the following:  Go to Zoom.us and select Join a Meeting.  Enter Meeting Code and Password if prompted.

Learning Ally's literacy solutions provides access to human recorded audiobooks for ALL students Pre K-2 (Excite Reading) and for eligible students K-12 (Learning Ally Audiobook Solution). In our session, we will explore the benefits of human read audiobooks, discover our new supplemental curriculum in Excite Reading (pre K - 2), and review the new features in our classic Audiobook Solution (eligible students K-12). Our human recorded Audiobooks fit right in with the Science of Reading, a focus for the state of NC. When students access our Audiobooks they gain background knowledge, are introduced to new vocabulary and develop sight recognition with support from the human audio.

You will have an opportunity to explore our two literacy solutions to experience the joy of our audiobooks and envision your students' success when they utilize our solutions! Please join me to learn how our Learning Ally literacy solutions are a game changer for your developing readers!
